Halloween is the time for short-stories

I like to put on the original NIght of The Living Dead and read spooky stories with friends on Halloween while the kids come by.

I've got some good collections of short stories. Some of my favorite short short-stories to read out loud are: (you can really get dramatic with these)

The Monkey's Paw, by w.w. Jacobs
The Festival, by h.p. Lovecraft
of course something by Poe and The Raven is always fun
The Statment of Randolph Carter, by h.p. Lovecraft (this has one of my favorite lines to read out loud)
Fishhead, by Irvin s. Cobb
The Damned Thing, by Ambrose Bierce
