Nothing new here guys.

Russia, England, France and the US have tested nuclear weapons using subterrainian and exo-atmospheric devices.

From my training course back in 1984, we saw video footage of a French test that took place in the '70s in French Guyana (?). The resulting detonation caused a series of small earthquakes which registered round the world and it was alledged at the time, that the explosion tilted the earth 2 degrees off it's axis. But that could have been CND propaganda!

Underground nuke explosions produce shockwaves that travel thru the earth's material, and that is what is detected by seismographs across the world. If you make a big enough explosion, you can move some stuff, like the ground, around. But no one is setting off a nuke to cause a tectonic plate to slip and slide.

Yah think?

Propaganda for totally gulible people.

I wonder if the person making that claim had ever heard of the principle of conservation of angular momentum.
