More Palestinians are being killed by their own fellow Palestinians than by Israelis this year.

RAMALLAH, West Bank - The number of Palestinians slain in vigilante killings and other internal violence has nearly quadrupled in four years, from 43 in 2002 to 151 so far in 2005, according to statistics presented Thursday.

top security official said more Palestinians were killed in internal violence this year than by Israeli troops.

The descent into lawlessness is hurting Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas politically at a time when he is trying to beat back a tough challenge by Islamic militant rivals. This week, a Palestinian parliament frustrated with armed gangs and corrupt police officers ordered Abbas to disband his Cabinet and make crime-fighting his top priority.

"The security situation is deteriorating in a very dangerous way, with no one putting a stop to it," said Hassan Khreisheh, the deputy parliament speaker.

so much for the Palestinian state wen the Palestinians are killing each other and people fighting for control over Palestinian territories. its back to the old tribal days. we got warlords and militias and it looks like nobody aint gonna stop it.

Yeah but you have to realize since Israel and Mossad are financing Hamas and Islamic Jihad it doesn't really count. Jews are just paying others to kill Palestinians now and not doing it themselves.

Considering that the palestinians will kill peopel who collaborate with the yehudis, and that they have radical militias patrolling their streets, and that the various militia groups are opposed to one another, and that abbas is at least supposed to crack down on them.....why is it so unbeleiveable that around 150 of them were killed by each other in militant violence? Why does it have to be the yehudis behind it all???

That statement has to be about the stupidest thing I have read on this site so far this year. It is so stupid on so many levels, it may go all the way around the stupidity spectrum and is actually unstupid.

I don't suppose you could provide even one molecule of fact that supports that kind of fantasy thought, do you?

Here are some real, bonafide facts that you can digest that actually pertain to the topic:

Since the implementation of the Israeli West bank Barrier, terrorism in those areas have dropped to almost zero. From Wikipedia:

"Israeli statistics indicate that the barrier has drastically reduced the number of Palestinian infiltrations and suicide bombings and other attacks on civilians in Israel and in Israeli settlements, and Israeli officials assert that completion of the barrier will make it even more effective in stopping these attacks.

Israeli officers, including the head of the Shin Bet, quoted in the newspaper Maariv, have claimed that in the areas where the barrier was complete, the number of hostile infiltrations has decreased to almost zero. Maariv also stated that Palestinian militants, including a senior member of Islamic Jihad, had confirmed that the barrier made it much harder to conduct attacks inside Israel. Since the completion of the fence in the area of Tulkarem and Qalqiliya in June 2003, there have been no successful attacks from those areas, all attacks have been intercepted or the suicide bombers have detonated prematurely".

The conclusion that can be reached is that the Palestinians are killing each other out of frustration, infighting, and lawlesness because they can no long kill Israelis, who have withdrawn and sealed off the area. The Palestinians own actions, in the absence of any manned presence by Israeli security forces, is self-incriminating and self-explanatory. You do not need a wacky "The Moussad is behind it all" theory to understand the basics of this situation. That and the fact that old Uncle Saddam is no longer backrolling their war against Israel, well, this is what's you get......their own self-induced chaos.

They are killing themelves because they are living in a society caught in the grip of a cult of death, and they no longer have a access to their place of worship.
