Virtual Bike Trips

So, has anyone with a stationary bike or tredmill ever done a "virtual bike trip?" It's where you bike or jog and you keep track of your distance traveled on a map. I think it's pretty cool because it gives you a real idea of how far you've actually gone (well, kinda. Doesn't factor in elevation changes, etc.)
