Out of the blue he asks for my number I say ummm no i'm married, and then you know what he says??
So what!!

I just gave him a discusted look and said no #ing way...

Goes to show they truly are hardcore about their religion but then can to a strip bar before they fly planes into the towers the night before...

Or in this case don't care if i'm married...

But their women have to wear burkas out in public or else their deemed a whore...

I think thats self projection and hypocrisy at it's finest...

Just out of curiosity, how did you know that this particular, um, dick, was muslim? Because he was of Middle Eastern descent? Could he of been a christian? Sikh? Shinto? Jehovah's Witness? Did he have a name tag that said, "Ask me about my Muslim religion"? And if he was muslim, are you trying to say that all muslims act like him? Was he like, the head muslim or something? And they all follow his lead?

I am not going to watch that. The written description was bad enough.

I watched the video. Needless to say, it's horrifying.

I can't imagine how so many people could participate in such a gruesome activity, even if it's deemed ok by God.
It's a cruel form of punishment, and reading about it, muchless watching it happen, is sickening.

Sure, it's a value judgement based on my experiences in Western Culture, but killing someone in that manner just doesn't seem humane at all.

Why put them in a bag? To make it harder for them to escape? Why? they're arms are already bound, tightly, no doubt. Or do they not want to see the faces of those they are killing? In the name of God.

I think that's one of the things that makes it so horrific, the fact that it's normal, everyday people doing the killing, and seeminly enthusiastically.

Sorry if I don't understand. But why can there be numerous links to a beheading video and not this video?

I saw the video and I must say its disturbing!

On a related [sort of] note.....

I think I read it in a book called "Mandingo", or something like that - one of a series of "pot-boiler" novels, set in the Deep South [I think] during the times of slavery.

Anyway, the lord of the manor, plantation-owner, whatever, invites his buddies over, & part of the afternoon's entertainment is a game of "bowls". Negro slaves had been buried up to their necks, & the game involved the rolling of heavy bowls at them.

That was as far as I read, the book went in the bin, & I never read another in the series.
