If anyone has access to this months Navy News, they have a full spread on the latest developments of the type 45's. Daring has her hull complete and
is due for launching at the end of this year (will take longer to commission her). They also test fired the Astor 30 missile system recently
achieving mach 5 in under 2 seconds. It is all looking good!!!

P.s. i never realised quite how much bigger they were. Apparently you could step from a bridge wing on a type 23 onto the foredeck of the 45.
