Katrina and UFO?

My husband was just telling me that he saw, on a tabloid cover, the real reason (haha) that no one could go in or out of NOLA.

Supposedly a UFO had been shooting something into the eye of the hurricane, got struck by lightning, and fell to the ground, and that's why they had the National Guard in.

What do you guys think of this? Just someone having fun with a story--or maybe there's more to it?

I just saw that cover and had to laff to myself wondering if the 6ft giant hamsters (that wrecked a texas town according to the same tabloid a while back) were driving that.

Well, you never know. Sometimes tabloids actually have a bit more truth to them than the regular newspaper.

I found it rather interesting.

But wouldn't it make sense to shoo everyone out of NOLA if there were a UFO?

well joke aside from above I have read on other forums
( for the life of me can't remember if I find em again I'll postem )
a few people have said they seen ufos during the storm.
How true it could be I'm not sure.
I'd imagine that if the storm can knock around planes and buildings
I think whom ever was operating a ufo would take care not
to fly near the storm.
If it were them making the storm to destroy us or what ever,
I think the better way for them to do it is like the psyclos in Battlefield Earth
( book, cause the movie sucked ).
If you haven't read it they used a gas drone.
