PODcast: Skeptic Overview Number 6
Not as prepared for a full episode as I'd like to be, I still manage to ramble on for 22 minutes. Some important information about the ATS Podcast contest, the Council elections, and some commentary on the upcoming ATS TV show. Also, upping the pot on identifying the 4 songs from the previous Overview

-It's good to hear that the podcasts are on a differnt server than the forum

-You mention that people will see what we are saying on ATSTV. That sounds very exciting. Already I feel we reach so many people, and our words make a difference.

-Geez, none of us came even close to guessing the 4 songs? That 3rd one has to be AC\DC .

Revising # 1 to Brown Sugar cuz there's no song called Just Around midnight (lol) but it's in Brown Sugar.
I'm sticking with the rest

so, its;
The Rolling Stones Brown Sugar
Led Zeppelin Communication Breakdown
Bachman Turner Overdrive Taking Care of Business
The Beatles Money

Only one of the four is correct, and another has the proper artist (but not song).

Hi SkepticOverlord

I'm new to ATS, and still just getting used to everything on the site,
but its pretty exciting stuff, let me tell you,
looking through the threads and the amount of information available,
is as equivalent to an online encyclopedia,
but the problem is, " i cant keep off it! "
I can already see myself metamorphosing into Investigative Journalism,
next i'll be sneaking in to top secrete facilities and planning covert operations, just to get a story on ATS,
and now with the Podcasting and the new TV Show,
well what can i say, i won't go anywhere without my dig cam anymore,

All the best iamian

ps, sorry dont know any of the four songs,
i was never good at Name that tune,

Oh, man...even if I never pin these tunes down, I'm having a blast digging through my old vinyl LP's. I've had the turntable hot all weekend.

Ok...here's my next best guesses;

#1 Rolling Stones- Start Me Up
#2 Cream- Spoonful
#3 Bachman Turner Overdrive- Taking Care of Business
#4 Beatles_ Paperback Writer

Great contest...I can't figure why more peeps aren't rocking their day away
