feed a tree -- freeze dry your dead and use as compost

Jonkoping, in southern Sweden, is turning its crematorium into a promatorium where instead of creamating bodies they will be freeze dried then vibrated to break them up into a powder - the hope is that people will then bury the remains and plant a tree above it and the remains will become a compost or fertalizer for the tree.

I have always planned on being cremated so why does the idea of being frozen instead of burned creep me out. Or maybe it just takes a bit of getting used to. Heck I creep my MIL out when I say I want to be cremated and have DH sprinkle ashes around the yard but to please wait a week before he mows the lawn. Imagine what she would say if I told her I wanted to be a human popsicle then smashed into a milllion pieces and used as compost.
