Poor bastard, after being hit by friendly fire you'd think you'd only just had a lucky escape, then to get your ass kicked again not long after by a helicopter gun ship? BOTH times it was US soldiers that injured him. Must have beent the most unlucky man alive.

His death was all over the papers just after the war started and there was absolutely no mention of this. Either there is no truth to this guys story, or he saw something that US soldiers didn't want him to see.

ITN reporter Terry Lloyd was killed by a US gunship in a bungled attack, it is claimed.

It was believed Lloyd, 50, was shot dead by US Marines in crossfire with Saddam troops in the Iraq war.

But rescuer Hamid Aglan claims the journalist was only lightly wounded and died hours later when the gunship blasted a minibus taking him to hospital. Hamid said: "He'd have lived if I'd got him to safety."
