Not much of late, Wetdog - theer was a fair bit of fuss in Bloomington and other areas about the economic need for the base when its closure in 2005
was mooted.
It is usually listed as a "radiation" area and there was talk of depleted uranium ammunition development there.
However, 5 years ago there was no small consternation when it was apparently overflown by a Russian aircraft- allegeldy trying to get photo's
concerning UFO research!
