This wonderful actor has passed away from a lung infection at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center.

www.cnn.com...

Don Adams, the wry-voiced comedian who starred as the fumbling secret agent Maxwell Smart in the 1960s TV spoof of James Bond movies, "Get Smart," has died. He was 82.

Adams died of a lung infection late Sunday at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, his friend and former agent Bruce Tufeld said Monday, adding that the actor broke his hip a year ago and had been in ill health since.

I will miss him, I loved his work.

A loss. A true loss. As a kid, I was enthralled with Get Smart. It was the era of the Man from U.N.C.L.E. , Secret Agent, The Prisoner and the James Bond and Matt Helm movies. Agent Maxwell Smart was the humorous counterpart of the suave, debonair secret agent. It is probably ironic that the Maxwell Smart secret agent was probably closer to the mark than your Napolean Solo or James Bond type of agent. Anyway Don Adams will be missed.

Aw man. I used to watch that show all the time.

And Inspector Gadget... classic.
He will be missed.
