Why did we pick Medici?

Easy to type, and the name is perfect, for a server which consists of art, that has been commisioned (by customers)...

I think I'll take one out of your book, Medici sounds good to me. Honestly I thought Louvre would have one though. Just sounds cool when you'd be talking about it , like : "Hey save that file on Louvre J drive would ya?"

Trust me, I liked Louvre too...the guys and I would get tired of spelling it for everyone though...It was in the running too!

Ahhh well, second place vote is still good. I thought there were a few really good entries. Besides, I couldn't get a WATS vote anyway.

I remember in one case we had a server being phased out called Reliant and replaced by a big bad boy to run 50 TB of production data. I choose the name for it...Khan.

Most people missed the obvious Star Trek reference.
