so i had my first brown out right at about 12:10... the storm has moved enough east and the majorty of the houston population lives on the west side of the city to where the majority of the city will not see winds over 60mph.

it seems Houston dodged a bullet and Louisana is gonna take more of a pounding. Lets hope people learn to have an appropriate response to these type of disasters and not over react and cause a panic, which is what happened here earlier this week.

Rita officially made landfall (the eye center) just east of Sabine Pass, TX at 3:30 AM EDT.
