Your the kind of person who is obbsesed with getting points aren't you. There is no need to create a thread for a personal message. You could have just sent a U2U. Would a MOD please lock down this thread. This has to be the one of the dumbest threads I have ever seen in my lifetime.

Actually in the forum it is in it seems to be a perfectly respectable type of post.

This is the MEMBERS forum, which seems to be for members to communicate with each other, however I too would have used a utu.

Fred, the Mystic Fish was created as follows:

At the time I joined ATS, there was the ability to u2u in and ask to have a custom subtitle. I wanted to be "The Divine ATS Sybil" and I went out and looked for an appropriate avatar...the prophetess.

Well a few months later I decided I wanted my crystal ball to pulse...kind of mystically, you know? So, I made a BIG mistake and approached NC about whether he could animate my crystal ball to pulse. So he comes back and gives me my avatar. I'm very pleased. Mind you I was getting online with a A21M laptop, so my resolution was sucky at best.

3 days after I've been posting with my new avatar Springer makes a follow-up post after one of mine that says "Hey! Who put the fish in your crystal ball!" And sure as #, I've got a fish in my crystal ball! NC had put a fish in my crystal ball!

...and so was born Fred, the Mystic Fish. He now gives free Fortunes by Fred (c) and such...

I think the post was fine and I've learnt something new from it. as have the other people who have seen it , 83 views at this point.
U2Us are fine for personal things but this was to do with something that is on view for other members to see to so instead of valhalls inbox getting cluttered up people can find out about the mystic fish here.
You shouldn't moan about other peoples posts unless you can garantee that all of your posts will informative and worth reading and even if you could , winging only gets peoples back up as I expect you have now found.

Well, Nans, and everyone else here. I would like to offer my apologies to everyone! I thought...late lastnight, that this was ATS. I am really sorry, I hope not to many people hate me now . Anyways I am sorry, I was absolutley rude, and 100% out of line on this one...

I thought it was like that Saturday Night Live skit, where everyone lived in the land of magical fish that granted wishes...but the idiots started frying them up, and they were running out of magical fish. They were all dressed up like Kings (due to all of their wishing, etc.).

I was here for the NC fish in the bowl bit though, hehe...and I remember that one...
