The escape from Hurrican Rita

Well, seeing as it is that I live near the gulf coast in SWLA, I got the deuce out of town. Lake Charles is going to see some seriously bad weather. This may even leave me homeless for a while. The lovely thing about living in a trailer...

I am one of the lucky ones. I knew this storm was going to turn early. I knew that I should go when I had the earliest chance. And I did just that. I avoided alot of the traffic and got to my destination in the appropriate amount of time.

Do you think God is punishing the Bush states? (Kidding!)

Anyhow, this storm is sure to be a nasty one. And I think I may just lose my spirit if I get to see my trailer wrecked on live tv.

I'm not one to ask people to pray for me. That's not my style. And I won't this time either. The only thing that I ask is that you pray for my family who is still there and have no choice but to be there. (Hospital)
