Wish they had video of it. I'd love to watch her go up.

So far so good. You can tell my brother in law doesn't work with them anymore. *laugh* He used to do launches like this. Every one he was involved in blew up during liftoff.

We had one out of PMR last month that surprised everyone. It was an early morning launch and we could see it from Oahu, which is VERY rare. We've never been able to see the launches from here, exept for under certain conditions, like early morning before sunrise.

I'm surprised that I was able to see it..
Came over the horizon about 3 minutes after.
I wonder did any other members see the launch, or get a photo maybe?

I watched it. I'm about 40mi north of VAFB. It was very, very cool (especially at night). I was able to see the first three stages burn before it went behind the clouds.

Sorry, no pictures... I was too excited to remember. There's three more launches in Oct and one in Dec (another Minotaur). Perhaps I can record one of those.

From the site:

0240 GMT (7:40 p.m. PDT Thurs.)

T+plus 16 minutes. No confirmation of spacecraft deployment from the rocket has been announced. We'll be awaiting additional information from launch officials to determine if Minotaur has successfully completed its mission this evening.

0235 GMT (7:35 p.m. PDT Thurs.)

Hope it's not broken...LOL

Those were amazing pictures of the trail from the rocket. Glad to hear that it was a successful launch. I was starting to think that my brother in law was there for this one again.
