Now, if these are coming out of Dartmouth University, imagine what has been dreamed up behind clsoed doors at the ISN (or DARPA) over the past half-decade...

Considering the public release of information regarding microrobotic breakthroughs at the Sandia National Laboratories, and new integrated polymer fabrication technologies which first appeared in January 2001, and given recent advances in solid state technologies (see HERE), one has to wonder how far we have come from these "creatures" of four years ago:

This stuff is amazing to me, what I used to think of as sciencefiction and impossible is being massproduced now. Very impressive to me, gives hope that nanotech for the the medical field is coming closer.
