Ice-T is to produce David Hasselhoff's first hip-hop album.

The pair are neighbours in Los Angeles and are said to have struck up a close friendship.

Hasselhoff has had some success as a singer, releasing seven albums. He's also said to be very popular in Germany.

Ice-T, who was one of the first real hip-hop stars in the late 1980s, said: "The man is a legend. And we are going to show a whole new side of him."

The rapper is said to be convinced that the 51-year-old for Knight Rider and Baywatch actor can take on the biggest names in rap, reports The Sun.

Ice-T added: "He's gonna come out as Hassle The Hoff - I promise you. The Hoff will surprise people with his rap skills and humour."

There must be something we can do to stop this catastrophie. Isn't there a law prohibiting this partnership? Ice-T did not really refer to Michael Knight as "The Hoff." Where the hell is Kit to talk some sense into him?

Rumor has that "The Hoff" is straight out of Compton. He is one of the most feared individuals in South Central L.A. I guess he killed 14 people. That is what his "peeps" are telling us. "The Hoff" is going to make 50 cent and The Game look like Sesame Street.

Now now, let's not be too hasty in condemning this. We can possibly harness this power for the good of mankind. Think about it: if they were using Christina Aguilera for torturing prisoners at Gitmo, imagine the success rate this could have. It could optionally also be used as a death penalty alternative, and would probably be a much greater deterrent--knowing you'll get executed for murder is one thing; how many people would risk spending 10-20 years listening to this? Kinda puts that sinister revenge plot you're building into a whole new perspective...

This will be the most highly anticipated albums of the year. Given "The Hoffs" past success on the radio and T.V he will surely return to star status. Looking at his past songs I feel "The Hoff" will hold nothing back bringing brutal lyrics and fly ryhmes to the table.
