No no no! I distinctly said FEMALE! Will you please pay attention?!

posted on May, 3 2006 @ 08:54 PM
I always pay attention.

Then I just go ahead and do what I want anyways.

I'll keep the ad in the paper a few more days and see if we get any more applicants. Happy?

Between you and my wife..... I've decided I'm going to just give in and go get a lobotomy and get it over with.

Don't take it personally NotClever. Fritz is really a nice guy, he just gets into the cat role a little too much sometimes.

Hey guy - chill out!

I am a Ginger and Orange Marmalade Tom Cat. We genteel widdle puddycats loath dogs - period!

Dogs are, by their very nature, noisy, smelly and boisterous. They yap incessently at all and sundry. They think they can take over the world, just because some ancient civilization said they were gods.

Not so. Anybody (with breeding) knows we are cats are the dogs boll**ks.

On a serious human level, I love dogs. My last 2 were called Dinky and Whizzer, both Rottweilers.

Dinky was a 2 year old Rotty who died of cancer and Whizzer was 4 years old, weighed about 6 stone and sat about 5 feet 6 inches tall.

When Whizzer walked across our sitting room and bumped into things, she usually knocked them over. Come to think of it, when Whizz jumped up to greet you, she normally knocked you off your feet.

Sadly, when my fiance and I split, her mum was given Whizz but could not handle her and apparently, she was put down.

I miss them both.

But I am one lucky guy. Gloucestershire Police Dog section uses my place of work to train their woffers, so I get to play with them - sometimes.

O.K., I'm over my snit. I'm a tad sensitive about my dogs, that's all. I'm a bit fond of my cat also.

If I keep Osage (that's her name), bathed, quiet, and well-behaved, can she visit from time to time?

Is that puppy breath I smell? Tis a far sight better than those rank old shoes.

Anyone want kittens? We gots more....again...

Ok like, in our "yard", which includes the house, the lawn, the woods, and the surrounding area. There are at least 20 cats running around, mind you, I think up to 14 are/were actually ours. When I say were, I'm taking into account the cats that definitely called our greenhouse home until Moose (big dog) showed up. When new people come to our house they are likely only to see 1 or 2 cats inside or out. But from time to time, they congregate en masse (like the nights where the laser pointer has been brought out.. ehehehehe). All cats are mostly outside but venture inside during the day. (The food is in the greenhouse, which is attached to our kitchen, most of the time you can find one or two in there).

So with that in mind... anyone want a kitten? lol.

It's a long story how this one got pregnant, as we fix all animals that we uhh.. "obtain" i.e. the ones we can catch on vet day. My cousin found a cat under her porch but can't keep cats as her dog loves fresh kitty, so somehow she made it past our weak objections and brought the cat over our house to live. She told us that she had he the cat spayed... but obviously not.

So yea, more cats, oh joy, this batch had 3, orange, white, grey.

Sounds like someone is awash in cats. There are a couple of wild ones living around my place here in the woods. They can't get much of a herd going for competing with the coyotes, foxes, and raccoons. It does annoy me when they camp out under the bird feeders looking for an easy lunch. I usually shoo 'em away and tell 'em to work for their food.

I bet you guys thought I forgot about you.
Of course not, just was a busy weekend and I didn't have a lot of net access. I had to escort my cousin to a wedding (on her mothers side of the family), and then the next night we went out to a party and were out most of the night. This week we leave here on Thursday and head to Jersey for the weekend. I'll prolly take the laptop I'm using just in case, but I dunno if I'm gonna be able to get access or not, we'll see.

Actually Zaph - I'm not.

I am just a widdle, Owinge and Ginger Marmawade NinjaKittyflea armed, Gentele, Cuddwie, Lovable, Puddycat - despite the fact that I am also a cunning widdle
, plotting to overthrow you and usurp your (mine) throne, as we cats tend to do!

Hey, how's everyone doing in here? Seen any pirates or ninjas around?

Well, gotta' go...see ya'.

What a motley crew bunch of non-conformists we are: threadkilling haiku masters, ninjas, man-pretending-to-be-ginger cat, man-pretending-to be benevolent dictator, insomniacs, cynical, gender-confused, greenlovin, hormone-on-overdrive-zombie watching, movie addicts.

So how are you guys? I realise I haven't done the whole catch-up thing, prefering to be glib instead (hey, don't hate me cause I have great shoes).

But where oh where is Tinkle? Zaph, is she coming back?
Where is Denial?
I tried to read through the backlog of info and quit after page 63.

Yeah I know, i have the attention span of the gnat. Huh?

Hi Nik!

Here's the brief update.

Tink did come back briefly, but I haven't seen her since. Zaph is out of town today, but maybe he knows more and will fill us in when he gets back.

Denial is hugely pregnant (it's a girl!) and full of mood swings.
She pops in from time to time.

Speaking of zombie movies, I just watched Land of the Dead the other night.

And on the recommendation of Kala and Denial, I also watched Meet the Feebles. I can honestly say I've never seen another movie like that in my life.

'Who let the Dragons out?', Wuff, Wuff, Wuff, Wuff!

No aint the same with dragons! Better leave it for the dogs..........

So Duzey, Niki, are things with you all. I've noticed from afar that it only appears to be you three that do all the writing and our Benevolent Lord but Absent Master - all
King Zaph (another promotion) has moved on.

What on earth has happened to Tinkle? I caught her post but have seen nothing since. Anybody had a U2U from her? Does the Special One know what's happening?

posted on May, 12 2006 @ 11:00 PM
I don't know anything more about Tinks, and I forgot to ask Zaph.

The Fearless Leader will probably not be around much for the next little while, due to real life obligations. While I will miss him
, I know he will return to his dictatorial duties as soon as he is able.

I'm doing well, and I'm getting excited about my trip to Vegas. I'm going to see Mystere again while I'm there. It's just an amazing show. The only problem is that when you sit in the lighting booth instead of the audience, it's like sitting in the fricken sauna. That's a small price to pay for free admission to Cirque de Soleil shows, however. We may have tickets to go see Wayne Newton, too.

I count myself lucky that I have relatives that work in the industry and can get me free tickets for shows. I couldn't afford any of them on my own.

SAo Super Secret Dragon Lady. I'd soooo forgotten your nission to Vegas. Well Lady Dragon, I really hope you have a great time. Please tell us all about it.

Duzey, I concur with the cat. Have a blast in Vegas (baby).

I was thinking that what this thread needs is an Xtreme makeover. We've lasted this long but we're losing steam fast.

I say we do a 1920 salonish kinda thing with it - red drapes, lots of cushions, opinionated poets, smokers, drinkers and dragons.

We can invite guest speakers and lecturers to discuss different topics, not always relating to specific thread killing abilities. Rather our focus perhaps should evolve to why a group of TKers haven't died out yet. We should play to our strengths of randomness and insane creativity.

What say you?
