Since when were we buying shoes for you? I distinctly said that was NOT approved!

*sigh*

Ok, no shoes.

A haiku to commemorate this moment:

Duzey has no Choos,
Stewart Wietzmans or Blahniks;
It's beyond tragic.

My Lord and Leader Zaph. All
to your Benevolence. You are a Great and Mighty Dictator but lordy, Lordy. You have much to learn about women and their shoes, especially Dragon's that wear shoes sized 6 1/2.

Please be magnaminous and let Duzey and I discuss shoes. You could say no, but remember the Pachyderms. They only listen to the Dragon and the KittyKat.

Darling Duzey, they are smashing. I can see why you like shiny stuff so much. Jimmy Choo on the other hand is just plain exploiting you women. No way I could afford them for my Lady, but on the other hand, she does not really like them.

The Lady Lucinda does prefer Faith and of course Russell & Bromley, Englands true bespoke hand made Ladies footware specialist.

Have you ever heard of them?

Fritz my friend, you are more than welcome to DISCUSS them all you want. However, TKA doesn't have enough income to be BUYING said shoes. We can't afford them until we finish taking over the world.

Is it too late to be considered a novice threadkiller? I'm trying to walk up to the idea that I have a problem, but every time I get close, I get the shakes.

I haven't yet got the guts to face up to how many I've killed, or where the bodies are. But it's ugly and I'm going to be ready to get help soon.

(On the other hand, I've brought a few back to brief, stuttering, Fronkensteen life).

It's not a good idea to come into the clubhouse until you're ready for it. If you come in too early, you just twitch around the clubhouse knocking over the furniture and then we get a big mess to pick up, and the maid/dog gets upset.

I stand corrected and I offer my utmost and most profoundly sincere apology to you Fritz!!!! The Cheese was requested by Zaph for YOU not for himself!!

There's an entrance fee of glazed donuts for the people, and extra mature cheddar for the cat. Click the link, and join us. I warn you though, it's 100 pages of sheer utter randomness. It started out having a purpose, but we sort of wandered off the path after a couple pages.

AND I forgot the doughnuts!!

Am I ever to be forgiven for such a slight and careless mistake?? Please don't nail me with elephant poo...I hear it stains something fierce!

I hang my head in shame...I'll go get some doughnuts right away!:bnghd:

We forgive you, don't worry. It was an honest mistake. Bring Duzey a pair of shoes and she'll be your bestest friend forever.

Yup, but only if they've got little shiny things on 'em!

The Wietzmans are seriously expensive shoes, as are most of the shoes I covet.
But they are ever so beautiful, aren't they? It's a good thing I didn't show you the Jimmy Choos.

Once again, all
Stewart Wietzman.

I could have a pair if I didn't pay my rent for two months. :shk:

WOW, I'm like a kitten and a piece of yarn with your shoes Duze. I can't keep my eyes off of them. I like Choos and Christian Louboutin (yummy). But the gold Manolos you bought for me a few pages back are my faves, especially now that I'm nice and tanned from my holiday.

Fritz you have one lucky woman.
My significant other tries to not get involved with my shoe worship. If left to him, this is what he would buy for me:

Fearless Leader, I cannot believe that with all the fees you've collected from us this past year, we can't raise enough money to buy a pair of shoes for our Poet Laureate. It is a shame that artistic talent goes underappreciated and underfunded in this day and age. I know for a fact you are spending fees on security, digital cable and elephant poop stain remover. Not that we don't need these things, but the world needs aesthetic pleasures as well as necessities. Without beauty what is the point of existence I ask?

Support the Arts! Buy Duzey her shoes!

Hi Nik good to see you back.

You are so right. My Lady and I are very lucky to have each other but I am really the luckiest of the two of us.

I have a wonderful 55 year old Lady who indulges one of my most favoured past times, buying her shoes. And Baccarat. And Lancombe por Femme. And Channel No 5. And Lingerie. And sometimes, just once in a while, she gives me things that I am in desperate need for.

Right here in Vancouver we have our own famous designer - John Fluevog!

He does some pretty outlandish styles but he ships internationally and is quite popular.

Here's a little sample (a tamer sample)

Check it out if you're an artsy-shoe-lover

John Fluevog Shoes

Just bought myself a pair of Madden boots last week. 4 1/2 inch heels!!! OMG they are beeeeeeeuuutiful boots. I'll never wear them (unless I can learn to walk in them) but I love them all the same.

I bought my first pair of Fluevogs almost 20 years ago. That was just a little while after he and Peter Fox parted ways.

They were the coolest shoes ever. Green suede with silver buckles, and long pointy toes. I called them my elf shoes and I loved them dearly. I also had a pair of darling black leather boots with the cutest little skullhead buckles. Pointy-toed, of course.

More shoe related rambling to follow when I get home.....

What's wrong with these? They look perfect for gingerly stepping around humongous piles of elephant poo.
In fact, elephant poo might help them.....if you catch my drift.

I'd like to thank Nik for posting that picture on this page. I can't keep my eyes off them either. When I went to reply, I caught myself staring at them with a dopey grin on my face, after about five minutes has passed. :shk:

Christian Louboutins are dreamy. There is nothing pastel or flouncy about my wardrobe, yet I see his shoes and want to rush out and buy things with ribbons and bows. Maybe even something satin. It's like magic.

They're just so pretty!

Please do not post pornographic photographs on this thread. It is unsightly, unseemly and way beneath out tolerance level.

Please remove it - well wait a bit. Not everybody may have seen it just yet!
