No, the first version was better. The fact that is was harder to hear added an eerie edge to the voice. It was almost as if you were straining to hear something that you were not supposed to hear. A sound that was drifting in over the tree-tops. Good work!. Was that bone rattling I heard in there?

Thanks dbates. ...I heard that people using headphones (iPods) were getting their eardrums blown out - so I tried to even up the sound... But I agree, dimension is a good thing.

BTW - not bone rattling - a rain stick.
