Deer hunter who killed 6 hunters Guilty of 1st degree murder

Vang an immigrant from Laos has been found guilty of 6 counts of murder stemming from a shooting incident earlier this year in Wisconsin.
Vang's defense was that he killed the other hunters in self defense after being accosted by the other hunters for tresspassing.
Vang claimed that the hunters used vulgarities as well as racial slurs against him after he tresspassed on their property. He also claimed that the other hunters fired a single shot in his direction. This is refuted by surviving hunters.
Vang, shot some of his victims in ambush and even chased one of them down.
Vang faces a mandatory life sentence for the killings.

HAYWARD, Wis. - A jury on Friday convicted an immigrant truck driver of first-degree murder in the deaths of six deer hunters during a confrontation over trespassing, rejecting his claims that he fired in self-defense after one hunter used racial slurs and another fired at him.
Chai Soua Vang, 36, faces mandatory life in prison. He was also found guilty of three counts of attempted homicide.
