The UK ban on use of cattle over 30 Mo old to be lifted

ban to be lifted

We have “ managed “ without such animals since 1997 , so do we need them ?

The weight of the animal does not increase and while there is not such an marked drop in quality as The difference between lamb and mutton . younger is better , Being politically incorrect – I love veal , when I can afford it

IMHO – its ` just asking for trouble ` , I believe the increased BSE testing will be more costly than the admin of the current 30mo rule .

So I guess the price of beef will rise over and above inflation in 2007 , or worse – the profit margin for farmers will fall again
