Alastair Campbell will be cleared this week by Parliament's Intelligence and Security Committee of the BBC's allegation that he "sexed up" the Government dossier on Saddam Hussein's weapons of mass destruction.

The highly secretive cross-party committee will deliver its report as MPs return to Westminster after the summer recess.
