I've been trying for days to find this thing, but I can't find it yet!!! How do you reach to Stonehenge in google Earth? It's supposed to be near a highway 344, but I can't even find that!! I can see the 338 and the m3 though. But after that I'm stuck.

I dont mean to get off topic sir, but when you get a chance, check out whole state of Indiana is the only whole grey state, its very odd.

Yes some places have different "shots" taken of them. Gray usually means more high definition I've noticed.

Perhaps it was taken with a different satellite than the one that took a pic of Chicago.

Btw.. Do you live on a lake? The water looks pretty nice! I'd bet it's also pretty cold!!

Try typing this in as an address:

51.18, -1.82

I'd test it for you but my home PC runs 98, I only have Google Earth at work.

I live in the building right on the water, cold in the winter, the water is the warmest right now, like 73 degrees F, in the winter the wind off the lake is so so cold.

Yup that's Stonehenge (within a degree or two), but you can't see it for crap. Quite disappointing, actually.

Try : (if you havent tried yet)

stonehenge, Salisbury, UK

and see if you can figure it out from all those farms... There may be a reason why it is not shown? maybe it looks different from above ?

Or maybe its just bad resolution

check this link... maybe you'll find some helpfull info ??
