Red Sox Innocent Bystander, Whos to Blame?

Topic started on 13-9-2005 @ 05:15 PM by chissler

After the Boston Red Sox won the 2004 world series, thousands of young fans hit the streets to celebrate. One of these fans was 21 year old Victoria Snelgrove, who was studying journalism at Emerson College, was ?MURDERED?.

Who were the murderers? The Boston police! This young lady was struck in the eye with a Projectile that dispenses pepper spray and died the following afternoon.

Yesterday the Boston Police say no charges are being laid in this incident and the investigation is over. The family was given a $5 Million settlement for this tradgedy but does that make it ok?

Somebody should be persecuted for this, a young woman lost her life for the carelessness of some officers, no amount of money will make the pain go away.

This is a quote from her father after her death:
"What happened to her should not happen to any American citizen, She loved the Red Sox. She went in to celebrate with friends, she was a bystander. She was out of the way, but she still got shot." -Rick Snelgrove

Do you guys think the Boston police should be held accountable for the death of this innocent bystander? They Don't, Obviosly

First off, do you have a link?

At any rate, here's the problem - they didn't try to at all. They were doing their job, and felt the need to hit her a pepper pellet. And, I hate to say it, but Stuff Happens, and it sucks. It's not murder, it's manslaughter. Something should be done, but this isn't first-degree here.
