A man and his wife had stayed at a hotel, and upon check-out the husband looked at the bill. "What are all these extra charges?" he demanded.

The clerk explained to him that the charges were for extra amenities.

"But I didn't use them!" the husband protested.

"They were there for you," the clerk replied.

"Fine, then I'm going to charge you for sleeping with my wife!" the husband fired back.

"But--I didn't sleep with her!" the clerk exclaimed.

"She was there for you!"
