Try it. I had some (by a different name) and I could see where it would make you astral project. Its all in the mind anyway, right? Anyway, its legal, and its a very spiritual trip. You don't trip for longer than ten minutes, but sometimes it feels like a very long time. I had three distinct trips on this stuff when I was a bit younger. The setting was a nice patch of woods behind an abandoned insane asylum.
Trip #1. I felt connected to the earth much like a rooted tree. I felt the breeze blow around and through me, this is probably the closest I have ever gotten to nature.
Trip #2. I took a hit on top of a grassy hill. It was a windy day and I felt like idandelion seeds blowing away on the breeze. I remember having a chill sensation and feeling of extreme peacefulness for a few minutes.
Trip #3. I hit the pipe walking down a road at the asylum. Relativily safe to do at the tiime, I thought nothing of itit until I started to see the Disneyesque cartoon charictors coming out of the abandoned buildings. I remember hallucinating that that they were each giving me an item to put in my backpack singing a psychedelic song that only consisted of the words "magic voyage". Apparently where I was going into my mind? I remember the excitement of the thought that I was embarking on a magic journey... then I came down. I did all this completely legally and in about the span of an hour.
