best racing game for PS2

i think that the best racing games for PS2 would have to be need for speed underground 2

I'm not much for racing games, but NFSU:2 kept me interested for quite some time!

Need for speed underground 2 is an awesome game. But going as far as saying its the BEST game ever... I doubt. I would have to say gran turismo a spec or 4. Juiced is also a god of a game

Man, NFS:U2 kicks arse. But... I finished every race, all hidden races, unlocked all shops, completed all the sponsor things and yet Im still only 98% complete (or around there)

Outruns will get you higher game completion and get you uniques. JW, what is the top speed you have gotten to and whats your best car?

Man... errrr, if my memory serves me correctly, my top cars would be Subaru Impreza, Mitsibushi (cannot remember the model) and the Nissan Skyline.

I've gone well over 200mph.

I only own three cars. My beginning civic, a mazda RX-8 and a Ford Mustang. My fastest so far is the RX-8 and I've achieved a top speed of lke 234 mph.

There's nothing better than sitting back and watching the virtual world whizz by at 230+mph! Although... it would be better if I had enough game completion to put on my wide body kits! 2 bloody percent to go!:bnghd:

You cant put on wide body kits??
Have you done the final race with the guy in the gto?

I've done every race.
I've gone through the world map in the garage and done every race.
I've unlocked every shop.
I've completed all my sponsors.

Wide body kits should be available. You're sure youve unlocked every garage, cuz theres a certain body shop down in the south part near the train yard. Theres 2 in coal harbor. Press down and double check that you got all body shops.

IDK what to tell you maybe you have to unlock them with the uniques. Thats how I got my body kit. Uniques baby, gotta love em. Have you played online yet? I heard its the best racing experience bar none.

Nah, I havn't. I bet it kicks a fair bit of arse though.

I've been thinking of trying it out. Seems like it would be fun. Not much more to do. Im on doing the downhill drifts in quick races. I got upto like 457000 pts.

Drifts are alot of fun. Majorly big points to be had. My Audi TT is tuned up to the bollocks for drifting.

My RX-8 is like multi purpose. Its probably my favorite car in the game.

Do you play using normal TV audio outputs or do you have surround sound?
I recently bought a £750, 360watt surround sound/hi-fi/home cinema system and my Subaru Impreza literally sounds meaty as f**k!

The bass that goes through my subs cause of the Impreza is unbelievable.

My hi-fi is my new God.
