www.pbs.org... It seems to me that a lot of things we do or the technologies we rely on, come about becouse of this amazing man Nikola Tesla, www.neuronet.pitt.edu...
What this man was thinking in the 1930's echoes through the decades ringing louder and louder, and the threshold shift that occurs leaves me feeling that were living in the mist of Nikola Tesla.
www.pbs.org...
In July 1934, Tesla wrote:

"The scientific man does not aim at an immediate result. He does not expect that his advanced ideas will be readily taken up. His work is like that of the planter for the future. His duty is to lay the foundation for those who are to come, and point the way. He lives and labors and hopes."

Its a bit scary to think that a race is going on for these Weapons
If the good guys dont win, God only knows.

We still await the outcome of Tesla's legacy at the present time.

There are no good guys, every human is innately evil (to an extent). By supressing or shrouding technology in secret, you are arguably evil. Everyone wants to rule the world, deomcrat, republican, communist or otherwise. The only way people will truly be free is to have the knowledge about the devices and physics. Information, not money is power.

Yes its true all humans are corruptable and power is corrupt,
but i must belive that there is more good in man than bad
or else what shall we do, give up?
And your right! knowledge is power and this will lead to the better good
with ppl such as yourself passing on info like your link,
thank you i'll watch these vids.

Poor Tesla... alot of his research was so repressed it wasn't funny! Fortunatly, he was so well known by the public, "they" couldn't just totally shut him up. Alot of his research has been hidden, but enough is still mainstream that we can use his ideas in everyday life. he was definitly genius.

Sure Tesla was very foresightful in his research on electricity. But, I am hesitant to give him as much credit as you seem to propose. Really all of our gadgets are predicted by science fiction authors, and then various scientists end up implementing some form of it.

The one thing that Tesla came up with that I find intriguing is his wireless power distribution grid which constists of saturing the globe with low frequency electromagnetic waves, and then have power apparati that can suck power from this frequency and run appliances. A truly distributed power grid.

the partical beem ray and the tesla shield are a little more than gadgits,
they're very powerfull systems on the cutting edge of are technology,
his wireless power distribution grid (Tesla Shield, Haarp)
is implemented as Tesla wished,
it could make all of Gene Roddenberys dreams and ideas come true.

to me science fiction authors are like prophets
they try to predict our future, some better than others.
