Well I do have some meteoroligist training.....and because the remnants of Rita and a strong low pressure system are about to collide people in Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, etc... should hold on for heavy rains, severe thunderstorms, and quite a few tornados. People in that path should prepare for localized flooding.

Don't forget I am in Michigan....near Detroit

Stan and Tammy will become named storms this week by Oct. 2nd at the latest. I know as of last night there were no new named storms. Vince will be named before Oct. 9th. Wilma will be shortly there after. We will be in the Greek alphabet by Oct. 20th.

I would also expect Bush's approval rating to dip below 35 percent by December. This may be due to the speculation of a horrible shopping/travel season this year for Christmas. This will be blamed on high gas/energy prices due to personal stories relayed on the major news stations.
