A Time to appreciate NASA

I know that some people think that NASA and space exploration is useless to the world. Well imagine this, without satellites to show the radar for weather, imagine how many people would have been killed from the terrible hurricanes these past years. In hurricane Katrina, they are estimating thousands to be dead. I don't even want to wonder what would have happened if there was no satellite to warn us about this monster that has come from the gulf. Also, remember all those hurricanes in Flordia last year? I give my heart out in great grief for all those who have suffered this past week and I dearly hope that reconstruction will hurry up and help those in need.
