Does anyone have any concrete updates on what is being done to contain this spill? Is it truly exxon valdez in scale?

I havent been able to find any updates on this since I posted.

I havent seen it mentioned.

I havent spoken to anyone whos even heard about it.

I suppose with all the other junk theyre going to be pumping out of new orleans an oil spill is of no concern.

Hmm... not exactly unexpected.

Any idea about the source? I saw something mentioned about tanks nearby, but is it possible that this could be comming from ruptured drilling rigs?

I'm still unable to find any information on how much damage there really was to oil production in the area.
