Right after Dennis came through my neck of the woods several weeks ago, we ran into gas shortages, although they weren't officially talked about.
However, after talking with some of the gas station owner friends in the area, I found out that they were having difficulty getting their deliveries
from their sources. One of their suppliers stated it was because of the extra demand created by those escaping the storm's path and also resupplying
the Florida panhandle area after people bought a boatload of the stuff.
The point of my rambling is, our supply of gas seems to be a pretty fragile thread. We might soon see some real causes for concern.
