Nano-material is harder than Diamonds

It seems like everyday there's something new to report in Nano technology.

Can't wait for the follow up, hopefully it won't be long for commercial and mass production. Might prove to be a good armor replacement for troops and vehicles.

Not to burst your bubble... but this is actually old news. That is... to anybody who has actually looked up some stuff on nanotech. I found an article like this about 2 years ago. It's funny that they just now make it news. There was another Nanotech post that I had already stated they were stronfer than Diamoinds... I think it was talking about Body armor. But it still is very fascinating.

They actually use a new Tungsten Acrylic for armor. It is supposed to be able to stop depleted uranium slugs if made right. Some guy took some of this stuff and made gold clubs with it. He didn't drive the balls any farther, particularly because they would shatter when he hit them with it.
