I have a friend that has been missing his family since the storm passed. His mother and father just called from seperate ends of the state within 5
minutes of each other. Mom stayed at Hilton in New Orleans and evacuated after the storm passed but before the levee broke. Dad stayed at home in
the Covington/Mandeville area N of Lake Ponch. during the storm but also evacuated prior to floodwater rising. Dad is now in Northern Lousianna and
Mom is in Baton Rouge. Both are low on gas.
