Round my way we have several Indigo children, except we just call them "special children".

They are more noted for their special abilities like drooling from both sides of the mouth at once, while having a poo. Also they have the ability to move without needing to use any physical energy on their part...someone just pushes them in their wheelchairs.

They really are gifted, everything is gifted to them. They do not need to work or do anything...which is just as well, they couldn't anyway.

Me well I am not an Indigo child. I am a kind of a striped cerise and turquoise mix.

Aint indigo the colour of jeans. I got indigo jeans, shirt and knickers

I fit the description of an indigo child. If you fit the description too, then this means only one thing. We're both self-absorbed assholes.

The only difference in the youth of today is the amount of information they have access too. There's a lot different today than when I went to school:

1 computers / internet / making music online / chats / all computer related stuff
2 lots of chemtrails now
3 still no bigfoot, though
4 TV has really taken off as a media


Now, we are all still human. We thrive with and actively explore these new technologies because we are human. Your emotions and feelings are the same as all humans, past and present. Your religious beliefs and values shape how you think also.

However, back before all of these youth targeted things came about, what was everyone doing?

The same thing except a different version of it.

Instead of Myspace, kids went other places *in person* and met with other kids.

Were there any indigo children about 30 or 40 years ago? Or is all of this just a *myth* brought on by the age of technology?

Since, according to you , this is so prevalent amoung people born after 1980, there has be some DNA markers showing this evolution.

Anyone have any links to DNA tests proving this new (and quite impressive) human evolution?

Indigo children should possess some biological clues as well as mental to prove they are as they say.

hmm iv heard of these terms and labels used before... people in my particular group enjoy singling out individuals who are supposed to be indigo crystaline or whatever else might be out there... sufficed to say there is always a new generation to replace the last thats how life works... its how evolution works... but to say one is better than the other is ludicrous... look at it this way... the young get the opportunity to have the chance to learn what the elders have to teach... so you have a lifetime extra ahead of someone thats all... my mentors have taught me loads... they told me they didnt learn those things till they were in their late 40's im only 20 in a year or so i will be educating people about the energy and will one day realize some little squirt is going to replace me lol but in reality does it matter? if your that upset that your about to be replaced perhaps your just as egotistical as these children who are handed everything.

After reading the "qualifications" to be an Indigo child, I believe I am.
So too are many people. Am...quite frankly, this "Indigo Child" terminology seems to be another way to make people who believe they're more important to God than a common ant, feel better about themselves & to justify their actions.
It's all rubbish to me, because due to that "qualification" to be an 'Indigo Child", I'd say about 45 to maybe even 55% of the world have alot of those stupid "qualifications".
And I do believe I'm very different to most other people because of the very strange things that have happened to me(Like alot of people on this site), but i don't consider myself the sh!t, if you know what I mean.

I've always heard it will be December 21st of 2012. I'm not going to buy any christmas presents that year in the hope it's true. If it's not true i'll be shopping like mad on the 22nd.

Well I am a pink child most days and have a hint of purple on Fridays. I am the 8th wave of the 3rd Ocean and its really wet, the wetter you are the more chance you have of surviving the firey cauldron of doom that will be lit in 2012 by little grey men who didn't learn not to play with matches. They were too intent on being that advanced they haven't figured out if they put a simple flashing light on their space ships and only flew at night that us lowly humans would think they were just normal aircraft.

Come on people, is there really that little direction left in this world that people are suckered in by this sort of thing.

This whole indigo child thing reminds me of astrology, every star sign fits every person in one way or another. The description of an indigo child can apply to virtually anyone. I just read it and I could quite easily be one.

This is a classic case of the old childhood saying: "Takes one to know one"!

We exist and have no need to feel 'special' except in the sense, unlike most, we know why we are here.

So yes, being enlightened to that would make one appear to be selfish, egoic, rebellious... 'special' even different or eccentric, though we dont view ourselves that way.

However, others do because they see 'it' within us but have no clue what they are seeing. Lacking enlightenment, humans tend to stick bad labels all over you with sticky notes. We sway from what we dont understand.

We make people feel intimidated, despite our best of intentions. We scare the hell out of people. Frankly. Our parents mostly, God bless them for raising us haha.

Special or new agey (I detest that term), to the contray, our work is 'awakened doing' which comes directly from the heart. Is done for no other reason but to uplift and enlighten... we have no need for that al' mighty pat on the back because we receive pure joy by simple awakened doing. Being in the Now, no past, no future. This moment.

Opps.. that monent just past so it doesnt matter anymore. Opps, happened again... see? Only NOW matters and it is very short term so use it wisely!

We live our life our way because we must to carry out God's will... evolution. Special? HA... funny. Cursed would better describe it. Its a HUGE job. And it isnt getting easier for I see stupid people everywhere.

We know our jobs, how to carry them out for the betterment of mankind as a whole and thats why we work towards effortlessly.

Mind enlightening me? What praytell are you lot doing to better the lot of mankind? Better hurry though, my openmindedness only lasts for limited amounts of time.

According to everything I have read through this post I am an Indigo too. Hmm I don't know. Sounds like hoey to me. Of course I am better thain everyone else, just because you don't see it doesnt make it not so LOL

Doesnt mean im an Indigo Adult just means im a meglomaniac.

Imagine this,

I created this Indigo Child story, I look for bad teenagers, problem kids, autis, hyper active, I gather them all together.
I tell them they are special, and they must stick together for a big mission. They must obey their leader ( me ).
They all will become suicide bomb, assassin, do every dirty job for me and they'd become my private army.

Indigos, a.k.a. Crystallines are existing, but not on that way as you described. They seems to be an absolutely normal guy, but they're quite different then most of that you've written down in this topic. They have one greater advantage, compared to normal ones. They have greater senses almost on every way and they sees more then as usually normal people do. They're able to sense, see, even hear more then others. But they're rarely state their experiences, because they're not really care about other's opinion.
