Can you not see we are on a path of self-destruction.
Name one time period where you couldn't say that....
People were saying that 1000 years ago, 2000 years ago, 3000 years ago, etc. If we wanted to destroy ourselves, we would have done that a long time ago.
And why wait for other people to change society? YOU do it!
I'm not trying to bust your balls, but I try to co-create every day. Do the best I can with what I got. If everyone did that, there'd be no more wars...
However, since the people in control (ie elitists) do not care about their fellow man, it is in actuality, up to the youth of society to lead us out of this chaotic world. What else do we know besides war, famine, and disease? Love. Love is the answer my friends, to the ultimate question of why are we here? To love one another, not kill, not be a hypochristian like this current Administration and Pat Roberts (not to be pointing fingers). Open your eyes, the world is at your fingertips.
In regards for the destruction comment...
It has not happened because the powers that be would not let humanity die in vain. I am not so sure we are "protected" though anymore due to our handling of our environment I'm sure there are plenty of pissed off sentient beings
. To get to my point: There is only one piece of evidence that will be necessary in proving my points. A quote from the LA Times:
www.latimes.com...
"The Bush administration Wednesday unveiled a blueprint for rebuilding the nation's decrepit nuclear weapons complex, including restoration of a large-scale bomb manufacturing capacity...
Until now, the nation has depended on carefully maintaining aging bombs produced during the Cold War arms race, some several decades old. The administration, however, wants the capability to turn out 125 new nuclear bombs per year by 2022, as the Pentagon retires older bombs that it says will no longer be reliable or safe."
I don't think the Pentagon is "retiring" bombs, but "using" them.
