Cpr... you just missed having your intro in the second ATS PODcast.
I just uploaded a new PODcast reviewing some of the early submissions from members.
I'll look into the points issue.

We're tracking down the file size problems. In the mean time, if you have a podcast and are encountering upload problems, just email it to me:

I found it just fine by searching on "below top secret"... it came up with the cover art and everything.
Also, I have discovered some kind of inbound filesize limitation that seems to be related to our firewall with our hosting service provider. I'll
check into it in the morning.

Hmmm.. why is it that when I try to add the RSS feed to my RSSReader it says:
"Feed not found or Connection failed"? Is it just because maybe it's currently offline or something?

The Upload Problem Has Been Fixed
I just confirmed the upload of a 1.8 megabyte MP3 and it was accepted just fine and added to the stream.
There will be some additional programming improvements later in the day, but the full 2 megabytes is now being accepted (we're looking into ways to
bump that up to 4 megabytes, stay tuned.)

We'll eventually prepare separate log analysis for the podcasts, but that's not ready yet.
But the really big news is...
PODcast uploads now have a maximum file size limit of 4 Megabytes, not 2.
This new larger file size should allow better freedom. At 32k compression of a mono audio file, your total PODcast content length could be about 15-16
minutes. Or shorter content can be of much higher quality audio at higher compression rates.

4MB is a very nice cap, and offers an awesome degree of freedom for PODcasters. However, I advise PODcasters not to make PODcasts unnecessarily large
just because the cap is generous.
My recommendation is that PODcasters try to keep the frequencies and sample rates down to avoid bloating the feeds and filling up peoples' iPods
unnecessarily.
The settings I find about optimal for both voice and music are:
22050 Frequency (1/2 of CD quality)
Joint-Stereo (gives stereo-esque sound and takes up no more space than mono)
48kbps Sample Rate (gives decent fidelity without much “flanging”)
Note that if you are doing a long voice-oriented feature like my World of Majic series, you may want to crank the sample rate down to 32kbps to, once
again, keep iPods from overflowing.
Meanwhile, if you're uploading music and the cymbals sound flangy (cymbals are the first things to go in MP3 compression), then you may want to bump
the sample rate up to 64kbps.
Remember, the target audience consists of people with iPods on the go. If they have to erase their favorite songs to make room for your PODcasts, they
may be less likely to listen to them.

Audtion, cool edit, pro edit 2.0 are good I use those to make stuff for my College radio shows as well as some club work now and again.
There are thousands of them out their, but it depends on what you are willing to pay.

Grand idea, I like it.
Is their a maximum limit to the length of the file?

original songs on BTS? I missed something during vacation.
