He is talking about something to do with the fact that many people who have dissipeared have talked about ufos just before.

Some of the most prominent UFOlogists haven't just disappeared and a high percentage of the population talk on these subjects, they don't disappear, not do the many many abductees.

Plenty of people involved with the subject remain living and un-disappeared (new word!) around the world.

I think you may have misread the article. They're talking about string theory and branes in the formation of the early universe. What they've found is apparent confirmation of an existing theory.
