Still going strong....

I'm getign reports of levee breakage plans. A freind called me and told me that when they were evacuatiing they saw a few BAck Hoes on top of levees. Just waiting to break them open. I have also heard that one area of lowere Barataria is under 2 feet of water already... I don't know the crediblity of this claim.

I took a nap and had a nightmare about I think tree monsters.... haha

Well alot of my freinds are quite worried about me so I hear. But they beleive if anyone is to stay and surrivive its me. SO they got my back.

Rain has gotten heavy, winds are strong. 1:30 CDT is suppsoed to be when we get eh worst of it.

Mizar, I am not from your area as a friendly reminder please seek high ground ASAP. Katrina is coming over NO within 5 hours and is bringing 60 foot high waves near the eye wall supercells. You are looking at what many are calling the "Asian Tsunami" of the U.S. because of NO's unique geography. Evacuate as fast as you can tommorow morning when you get a chance.

Cat 4 but still just as dangerous (just putting it in plain terms). IT would be hard to see a difference between what its at now and what it was at a couple hours ago.

New Orleans = PWNED

I was not expecting to see a hit this direct but it clearly seems like it will be.

MIZAR... hows the weather there? Get us some videos but stay safe
. If you make it through this youll definatley get to say YOUVE SAT THROUGH A BIG ONE!

The caps was just a addiction type thing. Id have to say though. The thing thats most depressing about hurricanes is not having power. I almost died without internet!

Lol, be safe, please, and keep the Television on, have a backpack ready, (a camera?) when the tv goes out, your probably dead or in a sevear time limit. Dont bring anythin heavy such as the tv or computor, lamp, ant chest, piano, bring your pets as well, and fireor a flashlight I know some people just cant let go.

good luck, and now I forgot your name.

Yup this Katrina is no lady.

I fear the worst for anyone caught in her path.

I'm watching the live loop and those nasty red bands are right on top of New Orleans,

They need our prayers now, the worst has begun

Say it ain't so Nerd....I think Anderson has gotten addicted to the rush of hurricanes, I hope he stays safe.

I'm pretty sure the power is going out in parts of New Orleans now... none of the cams seem to be working and looking at the radar, they seem to be getting pounded now!!!

I went to bed and woke up with CNN in the background. I had horrible rain dreams that my bed floated down the street.

Poor people.

Anyone seeing the images of the reporter in Baton Rouge near an oil platform? He's practically blowing away. I wonder how they are keeping him grounded. Rocks in pockets? The wind looks fierce.
