UniBomber Quiz (Or What Makes Ted Tick)

Are you pricing shacks in Montana? TheSmokingGun recently put togehter a quiz based on the answers that Ted Kazinski gave when he took the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI) which is a 557 question true / false test that measures what else - personality traits.

This quiz is 50 questions and bases your score on how close you correlated your answers with Ted.

BTW I scored a 20 (Barely normal )

...i only got a 24, so at this early stage, the best/worst i can be is a runner-up...but i expect the fast closers in the homestretch to power their way to

22 for me too - but I had to look up what an IBM Selectric actually was tho'

Pro testers know how easy it is to get 'test savy'. Youc an boost your IQ score by over ten per cent, just by repeatedly taking the test.

Now that everyone's on the look out for potential 'ticking time bombs', getting the right answers on personality profiles is more important than ever, and certain more so then passing the relatively mundane 'urine analysis'. Uh..actually, compulsive lying is a significant indicator of several psychiatric conditions....

Presence of mind is no guarantee of sanity.

Exhibit 1: Ted Bundy, sociopath (now known as the infinitely more politically correct "antisocial personality disorder)....

I wasn't speaking clinically, but thinking of the old "Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintainence" book. Pirisg discovers that shrinks reward lying. The Rorshack "inkspot" test diagnosises you as 'schizophernic' if you only see inkspots. In other words you suffer from a disease that makes you see things that aren't there, if you don't see thinks that aren't there!

Speaking of serial murderers, Edmund Kemper was released from psychiatric custody when his shrinks felt he was 'cured'. He went on to commit many more murders. His last interview with his shrink was held in the hospital parking lot. Kemper had a woman's decapitated head in his drunk. His doc declared him as sane as anyone, and signed his release.

If telling people the truth actually worked, then politicians would be doing it! It's like the old saying "the wheel is crooked, but it's the only game in town". However I don't want to come off like some kind of Unibomber.
