Topic started on 31-8-2003 @ 05:40 PM by John Nada

Iran's pursuit of a nuclear capability is a "nightmare scenario" which demands immediate international action, Israeli Foreign Minsiter Silvan Shalom said Sunday

"Iran is fast apporaching the point of no return in its efforts to acquire nuclear weapons capability," Shalom said here after talks with European Union foreign policy chief Javier Solana who was fresh from a visit to Tehran.

I agree. Instead of getting the US to take them out, Israel definitely has the technology to do it themselves. A more important international threat is N. Korea & of course the evildoing Al Qaeda terrorists.

In case I haven't got the message over to you yet, I think both sides are idiots and I am not trying to thrust any politics on anyone. I just like reporting the news that I hear coming from over there. Seeing how all the bad things that Palastine do are reported in the media, and all the bad things Israel do are not because they OWN THE MEDIA, I report mostly stuff about Israel to even out the books. OK with you? If not don't read my posts.

I just watched Dr Strangelove for the first time in a few years.

I had forgotten how intricately interwoven the good Doctor and the two key military officers were in making sure the failsafe mechanism was guaranteed to fail by the simple locking of a door and mucking around with long-winded explanations in the War Room.

Add a couple of Ayatollahs into the mix who don't like Coke, Pepsi or Zionism, and you have an unfunnier version of a story with a similar themes which could be turned into black comedy in 2005.

BTW, has everybody played out the shockwave game Gulf War 2?

Worth a look. It was written in November 2002, but so far in reality it's stuck on the first move!!!!!
