does anyone know of a good free (hahahah) music editing programme, ones where i iwll be able to mix tracks and shorten them , add echo etc,
i know im asking a lot but someone may know of one..thanks in advance

Cool Edit Pro.. which I believe Adobe has taken over and changed it's name.. a google search will help you track it down.
its the best music editing progy I have seen

as well as soundforge

this is what I use, yes you have to buy it, or. anyway there is nothing better if you want to sound like a pro this is the program

I have used all of the programs above. For personal use I recommend Audacity.
FL studio is more of music makin program. Dj stuff
Audacity is defenetly the way to go if you need it for your own stuff.
