It is a theory of mine that Iran maybe the next target of US military action. The Iranians have sponsored terrorism against the west for the last 20 years; and continue to fund terrorist groups such as Hamas. I think that once the US military has honed it's capabilities with Iraq they'll be inprime position to strike Iran.
Anybody else have any theories ?

Oils well that ends well.

Cost of war 200billion
Proven oil reserves in Iraq 112billion barrels
Probable oil reserves 300billion barrels

interesting question.

i think that it is very possible that iran and / or saudi arabia will be taken over while we got all our stuff over there.

you all i'm sure have noticed the change in the way that sa is being portrayed by the media. there is much talk of how all the terrorists came from there and how the government is corrupt. it is being compared to the taliban wrt human rights, oppression, etc.

also, about a week a go i saw a show on tv about iran. they were interviewing various people and they were all talking about how on the street they couldn't do anything and how the government was brutal. but in there homes they could watch porn or go on the internet or have satellite tv or do whatever. they talked about how they hated the burkas and loved western culture and how they would be so happy if the u.s. took out there government too.

btw there are some hot women in iran (really).

i'm sorry i don't remember what show it was. did anyone else see it? it was one of the major networks, like nightline or primetime or smartline or 24 hours or something.

also, israel has been given the go-ahead for full retaliation if iraq attacks them in the same way it did in gw #1. i believe this will lead to an all-out war in the middle east. isreal would have to go through syria or jordan to send in their land forces. i think the us would prefer to have the kurds and israelis to do the dirty work. even though we'd support them, it wouldn't be quite the same as having american troops marching into bagdad to fight the armed civilians there.

also, we don't have to worry about breaking the coalition this time because there is no coalition. isreal is a very strong military power and all the arab nations want to destroy it. it is significantly likely that all the arab countries could unite against the us uk and israel this time. wwIII? maybe.

also it makes sense because bush and cheney are obviously acting upon the behalf of satan.

I don't know where Bush and his administration got their bloodlust from. It's almost like an obsession for them to wage war...
It seems that oil might have a lot to do with it, seeing as this Republican administration is a lot like the last one. The Gulf War was interestingly only initiated once Iraq made a move that affected world oil prices severely. Nobody moved a muscle in the US when Saddam was wiping out the Kurds; ironically, Saddam's weapons were almost entirely US-supplied.
George W. has a thing for meddling in matters of oil, I suspect. Perhaps it's like a retardation of sorts, since his history with oil includes running three Texas oil companies into the ground.
Anyway, since this is about the War on Terrorism, I guess I digress a bit.
It all has a strange smell about it.

don't know, it's possible that they are looking to go into Iran as well. it has been said that there are factions within the current administration working toward all out war with the arab nations, i think it's too early to tell if they will get it or not.

I think Iran is more capable of it's own revolution than Iraq. Lots of young people there also.

From what I have read, The General is right. The avergage person is pro-western and porn and western music are things they like.

Any read about the Shah's son and his TV show? I don't know if it's still broadcasted. Iran was able to pick it up via satellite but the mullahs kept blocking the signal. Interesting stuff if anyone cares do to a little searching on it.
