Can this really be true?? Have the police come to their sense? I have been going on about this for weeks. Can the killing of poor innocent Brazilian Menenez be responsible for some sense coming back to police officers in Britain? I am not naive to think that it will ALL stop because someone has to be responsible for 7/7.

But any sort of intelligent review or pause to think about the consequences before shooting is a VICTORY in my book. This will at least force the police to handle this better without having them run off all crazy-like shooting innocent people.

I know those who support police intervention will probably blame the 'liberals' for making the country less safe but I am prempting that by saying we all win with this one. The police will still be searching for terrorists but they will be a hell of a lot more careful in future.

Excellent News.

Well done UK.

Carry on with the debate. Some good points made that would suit your post.
