after we run out of oil the end may be near!

After oil prices raise unimaginably high there will be riots and overseas terrorist organizations will realize they are virtualy unopposed.It would be almost impossible to get troops there by plane and boat.Then with a couple of stolen nukes they would kill us all.

Long before we "run out of oil"....the United States will tap into it's strategic reserves. Using the reserves, the United States will finally come to its' senses and begin growing hemp. Hemp, as you might learn upon even a cursory investigation, can easily supply all of the United States energy needs as biofuel. Henry Ford knew this. Rudolf Diesel knew this. Trust me, the powers that be in the United States knows this.

But how much land is going to be needed to grow that much Hemp, America uses a hell of a lot of fuel and its only going to increase.

Frankly, bio fuel can be made from other sources other than hemp. Just think of all of the bio material that is simply discarded from corn production. After the ears of corn are harvested, the rest of the stalk is discarded or plowed under. This bio material could be harvested to turn into fuel. We're not talking about getting high here....we're talking about energy independence.

wow, just six percent. Thats very good. But there has to be drawbacks to this, I mean couldn't people get high off the exaust fumes or something...

That may be true, but not every square inch of the U.S. is suitable for growing hemp. I am curious how much agricultural land would be needed to grow this amount of Hemp.
