Just a note to thank John Bull1 for getting the mud pit changed, so us poor UK mud slingers, get a chance to sling some mud at our dear government as well.

Well, this is the Mud Pit, so while I'm here - Tony Blair sickens me. GEtting into power by posing as a Socialist and then spending the next 7 years slowly (or not so slowly) converting the entire Labour PArty into a conservative party, thus establishing a one party state, while convincing the "dumber" of the working class that he is still "Left Wing".........what a con man

On another note Tony Blair! well what can we say, if he got any further up George Buss's ...... he would have to be surgically removed wouldnt he?

I dont think he's done anything for me since he came into power, and most (personally opinion) of the poeple who vote Tory are probably pensioner's, that have always voted that way and always will. Which is a shame as there's more to life than the Torrie's (although I havent found it yet), but if they have been brought up that way then they try to pass on the tradition, that all their families have been Torrie's and they have to stay that way.

Hey BW, I didn't really mean crusade, I've just been waiting for an opportunity to use that word all day.....

Funny you should mention the "Torie Pensioners" passing on their views........I noticed this a long time ago too, and it is one of the similarities I see with new labour. the generation of 40 - 50 year olds who have been voting Labour, are now believing everything Blair says without question, and expecting their minors to do likewise. It seems the Labour parties conservative shift is effecting their supporters to. I think Tony Blair has had this planned......but thats just me.

As I said I think it was an oversight.

Although the UK is small in comparison to the US,with all the rain we get there is plenty of mud.

And hell!! we've all got to throw it somewhere!Right!!.

I love watching Parliment on BBC. Sometimes I wish our Govt. did things more like that. It can get quite heated to say the least!

Agreed Fry, watching Parliment can be quite hilarious sometimes.......when their in that room their like children in the playground, jeering and insulting, it's great!

playground ?????? sometimes, to me its more like a classroom now, what with the speaker in charge, god its stupid in there as well, quite a few fall asleep as well.
