Two Canadian peacekeepers have reportedly been injured in Egypt, near the border with the Gaza Strip, after a blast occurred near a vehicle they were travelling in.
The two Canadian soldiers -- serving in the Multinational Force and Observers (MFO) -- were "lightly wounded" in the blast, according to Ian Baxendell, a spokesperson for the MFO.
Egyptian security officials said the soldiers were both women.
